CES is in the process of planning field day. If you have a background check on file and would like to volunteer, we are accepting up to 32 volunteers. Field Day is Wednesday, May 24th. The volunteer hours are 8:00-2:30. You would be helping to set up stations, supervise stations, and take down stations. We will have staff that can give breaks and let you have a 30 min lunch. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the school at 812-738-4183. The staff will verify you have a background check on file and add you to the list. We are only taking the first 32! Thank you in advance!
This is just a reminder that while warmer weather is coming and kids want to go out to play, please keep a close eye on them. Whether at a park or even a local store, talk to them about stranger danger. Explain that they are to never go with anyone that they do not know. Watch them closely. There have been reports of people with ill intentions toward children within our area. We need to be aware that it can happen anywhere.

There will be a Hunter Education Class on March 18th, 2023. The class will be held at the Floyd County Conservation Club. This is located at 3097 Georgetown-Greenville Rd., Georgetown, IN. PICTURE RETAKES SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3.
If you were satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your picture package, please send your picture package to school with your student on THU., NOV. 3.
Your retake picture package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after retake day.
Students who were absent on the first picture day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken.

We have had a great Red Ribbon Week, but we are not done yet. On Friday, October 28, students are invited to "Say 'BOO' to Drugs" by wearing a Halloween costume to school. We want to remind everyone that students are NOT to wear full-face masks or bring props that resemble weapons.
