Hello Families! We will be having Kindness Week this year February 5-9 (more details to come as we get closer). As part of Kindness Week, we will have an assembly on February 8th called "Look Out For the Left Out." This assembly will urge us, and hopefully inspire us, to look out for others by opening our eyes, hearts, and hands to others in our home, school, community, and world. You have the opportunity to get some slime or swag from Calla's shop. When you go to the website, you will see her story. All proceeds from her shop go to Casa Calla, which you can read more about on the website as well. Here is a link to order. Want to take what your student is learning in the classroom and expand upon it at home? Discover how at our parent night on September 26 from 6-6:45 PM. We'll be discussing reading and writing activities to reinforce your child's confidence and love of reading, ways to incorporate math into everyday activities, and techniques to help your child investigate the world around them. It'll be a night packed full of information so come ready to learn! Childcare will also be provided to school-age children.
