
SCES brought in 2798 canned goods for the Elizabeth Community Center Food Pantry!!!
Our goal was 1000 and the kids SMASHED that total and kept on going!!! Now we will have a special Elf visitor in December :)
Also, special thank you to the Elizabeth Fire Department for helping deliver all of the canned goods to the food pantry.

Thank you to our SCES Choir for performing the National Anthem before last night's basketball game. They also performed for Veterans Day and are such great representatives for SC!!!

It was also great to be able to share our Veterans Day celebration with our local Legion as they presented the flags for our presentation.

The final two grades got to hear the fire safety message last week and check out the equipment. Some of the teachers even got involved!










This week is Red Ribbon Week. Throughout the week, we will have spirit days, as well as announcements in the gym. We will also have fun competitions between classes, and students will be able to help make a paper chain to pledge to be drug free. I will also visit each classroom to discuss the importance of making safe, healthy choices, and staying drug free! Each student will receive a Red Ribbon Week pencil and sticker as well. Special thank you to the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition for donating the Red Ribbon Week items!
