Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28th is Field Day at CES. Please make sure your student has the following:
A complete change of clothes-there will be water activities and the Office does not have enough clothes for each student.
Sunscreen that your student is able to apply.
A hat and or glasses are optional.
Bus 21 students will arrive home 15-20 minutes late today 5-22-25.

Thanks Ms. Stafford for organizing the Tat the Teacher fundraiser at CES! Students purchased temporary tattoos for a teacher of their choice at CES. Students raised almost $400 for the Harrison County Animal Shelter and $400 to help assist lunch accounts.
CES 3rd grade students visited their next destination in their educational journey yesterday. Thank you Ms. Carter and Ms. Carver for taking a few hours during this busy time to welcome and introduce CIS to our 3rd graders! Thank you Ms. Baxter for coordinating the visit!

CES Kindergarten Students celebrated the Kentucky Derby with their annual stick horse race this past week. Students worked on derby-related projects in their respective classes and competed for the garland of roses in the CES Gym on Thursday!
Now that cold weather is behind us, the CES lost and found mountain is not seeing much movement. If your student is missing a hoodie, jacket, or coat, please remind them to take a look.

CES 3rd graders participated in an ILEARN pep rally on Monday! Students were reminded by their superhero teachers to get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and do their best on the state assessment which will occur over the next few weeks. Students then participated in minute to win it games with an especially messy game of digging gummy worms from a bowl of whipped cream with only their mouths! Love the competition and enthusiasm, let's carry it on to testing and show the state what we know!
