Game Day!

Good afternoon,
The Corydon Campuses were placed on a soft lockdown due to reports of perceived gunshots in the distance behind the high school baseball fields. Recess was immediately moved inside and our academic day was not disrupted. The School Resource Officers conducted an investigation and no apparent threat was observed. As an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to keep students indoors for the remainder of the day.

Upcoming Sports Schedule

Parent-Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, Sept. 24, 12-7. We encourage you to email teachers to set up a time for a visit but walk-ins are definitely welcomed.

Kona Ice is coming Friday during lunch.

Both the 7th and 8th grade football teams won their games tonight against North Harrison. The 8th graders were able to bring the trophy back to CCJHS! Way to go boys and coaches!

Work-based learning through College & Career Center internships or Prosser builds students' resumés and soft-skills before going off to college or joining the workforce. 👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾 Read our latest blog post below to learn more about work-based learning!

Science class has many hands-on learning labs where students take complex ideas and see them work out visually. 🥼 Being able to ACTUALLY SEE what Ms. Lawson is talking about and manipulate those variables helps our CCJHS students understand the concept better. Plus, with an M&M lab there's a sweet treat involved!! 🍫

Good luck to our tennis, volleyball, and cross country teams tonight!
