Last Friday SCES Honor Society students traveled to Harrison County Community Services to work in the food pantry and clothes closet. Students packed food boxes to be delivered to families, sorted through produce, and organized clothes for the clothes closet. Harrison County Community Services gives out over 1 million pounds of food every year to people in the county. They also give out thousands of items of clothing to those in need. This service project helped students see how volunteering their time and effort can make a positive impact on others. The students put in a lot of work, and had fun doing it!
