NMES will be participating in the "Read to Feed Harrison County" Winter Challenge to help support the Harrison County Community Foundation.
The community goal for the reading challenge is 9,500 from January 1 - 31. All books, ebooks, and magazines count toward the total. Teachers will compile a list of books read and send their total in weekly for the school. Please keep track of your totals and report them to your child's teacher by Friday of each week in January.
If the community goal is met, our sponsors will donate the following to Harrison County Community Services: 100 cases of chicken from Tyson, $1,000 from Duke Energy, $200 from Harrison County REMC, and a $75 gift card from Walmart.
No individual prizes are given for this challenge.
