On Wednesday, December 21, Heth Washington students were treated with Christmas presents. Each student received a pair of shoes, a HWES hoodie, 2 books hand selected by reading level, a board game, a blanket, gloves, a hat, and holiday candy. This awesome event was made possible by the hard work of the the HWES PTO, HWES Teachers and Staff, and an outpouring of community support.
Funds were raised through the annual HWES Fall Festival, candle sales by students, and financial donations from many local churches, businesses, and anonymous residents of Harrison County. This event would not be possible without the combined efforts of these organizations and individuals!
