Solving problems

Before Fall Break, the HWES 5th grade students worked on Inventions that would solve a problem in their daily lives.  These problems ranged from loosing hair scrunchees, harvesting Pringles from the bottom of the can, containing their pets, and organizing jewelry.

Students worked on prototyping, testing, and re-designing their projects in the hope of creating something that their peer could relate to.

Students were expected to problem solve, think outside of the box, and build their project, culminating with a Sharktank like experience of presenting their work and defending their idea.

Great job 5th graders on your hard work and creativity!
