Heth-Washington Elementary

The HWES Math Bowl Team comprised of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Heth Washington students traveled to West Washington HS for the culminating competition of the season.  Students competed as a 3 person team during 8 rounds of rigorous mathematics questions.  Students had limited time to complete the assigned question and were challenging even for the adults in the audience!  The HWES Team was just 2 points shy of reaching 3rd place, but considering the number of competitors and the quality of their respective challengers, everyone walked away pleased with the finish.  Congrats team and Ms. Carrillo for a successful season!
