On Friday, April 14, HWES 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders participated in a Pep Rally to get excited for the upcoming ILEARN Testing Window which runs April 17-May 12. Students were encouraged to do their best, get a good nights rest, eat a healthy breakfast and show the state what they know! Students were treated to "I got this!" t-shirts provided by Paul Kiger and his realty group. To culminate the rally, classes competed in a rock, paper, scissor competition to determine the winner of the championship plate. This award will reside in the 3rd grade classroom until this time next year. Congratulations to Mr. Yeager's class, and good luck to all of our testers over the upcoming weeks!
