Today at CIS, we kicked off our new House program. Every student and staff member belongs to a House. Students drew a colored wrist band to determine which House they would belong to.
Each House has a designated color and name. The names are our PRIDE characteristics (persistence, respect, initiative, dependable, efficient) in a different language.
Students can earn points for their House by showing our PRIDE characteristics, participating in activities, showing school spirit, and being involved in community service projects. Houses will earn prizes for points earned.
The House program will promote positive relationships among students throughout the building, teach important life skills, and encourage positive behavior. Houses will meet at least once a month to participate in fun activities, competitions, and community service projects.
