Harrison County Public Library is excited to continue partnering with local schools to provide student library cards. Due to the current political climate in our state and country, we believe it is prudent to provide the following information in your student orientation packets:
Your child will be receiving a free library card for the Harrison County Public Library. This card allows them to access the library’s eResources at home and at school, download free eBooks and eAudio from Libby/Overdrive and Hoopla, use the public library’s computers, and check out one physical item at a time. If you would like to opt out of a student library card for your child, please contact your school’s librarian.
