Last night the CCHS Academic Super Bowl teams competed at the Area competition at Austin High School. Social Studies Team placed 1st in Class 2 Math Team B placed 1st and Math Team A placed 2nd in Class 2 English Team A placed 4th and English Team B placed 5th in Class 2 Science Team A placed 1st and Science Team B 4th in Class 2 Fine Arts team placed 3rd in Class 2

Due to weather conditions, the CCJHS's 8th Grade Course Group Scheduling Meeting has been postponed from today to Thursday, February 5th at 6:00 P.M. We encourage you and your student to attend so that you can work together to map out course selections for your student's freshman year. We will be discussing the new diploma seals and how it may impact a student's freshman year schedule.

CCHS is excited to announce the arrival of our new Botrista machine! We're the 2nd K–12 school in the nation to receive this machine! This addition allows us to offer iced lattes, iced teas, and refresher-style drinks to our high school students. ☕ ✨ Free samples will be available during lunch TODAY and TOMORROW!✨ Students must also have a positive lunch account balance to purchase a full-size drink. COLLEGE & CAREER READY! Dr. Carrie Spencer preforms Mobile Diagnostic Veterinary Services to bring advanced testing & images directly to pets. Today she preformed an ECHOCARDIOGRAM and ULTRASOUND for our students to see.

Mark your calendars for PANTHER PRIDE DAY! Come support our Student Council and basketball teams with lots of events this day! Between games, we will host a Meet the Panthers event for the youth in our community to spend time with our boys and girls basketball teams. They can get their photos with them and autographs! We will also have a Chili Dinner throughout the day, as well as local vendors set up! We can't wait to see you!

Congratulations to CCHS Class of 2026 graduate, Lincoln Greene, for being named the Harrison County recipient of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship! We are so proud of him! Lincoln is currently deciding between attending Rose Hulman, Notre Dame or Purdue University to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Also, we would like to extend a congratulations to all of our finalists this year from CCHS: Avery Miller, Olivia Schreck and Reese Withers. Along with Lincoln, these 4 individuals represent the work ethic, respect, and integrity of our school. For those who don’t know, every county is awarded one recipient for the Lilly, which is a prestigious, full-tuition scholarship for Indiana residents to attend an in-state college or university. The selection criteria for finalists includes a combination of academic achievement, leadership skills, community service, character, an essay, and an interview.
