high school students in a classroom listening to a presentation focusing on bullying prevention

Our Child and Adolescent Development students started to work towards their IUS micro-credential "Special Topics in Education" that will be earned through a three-part lecture series that concludes in spring of 2023 with a badge ceremony. Today Dr. Troy Hubbard and Dr. Faye Camahalan visited CCHS for a guest lecture on bullying prevention, exploring the root causes and impacts of bullying, as well as the teaching implications for bullying intervention.

The next guest lecturer is scheduled to explore classroom management with us on October 24th.
