College Go! Week is a statewide event, to help inform students about their post secondary opportunities…and also to hopefully have fun! There are several schoolwide activities planned. There are spirit days (listed below), and 4th-6th graders can participate in a college bingo game. PreK-3rd graders can participate in a college pennant design project. Students who choose to complete their bingo card or college pennant by next Friday can select a prize from the office.
529 College Savings Plans and Upromise
Both 529 plans and the Upromise program are great ways to start saving for your child’s college. It is important to start saving now and not wait until your child is in high school. I’ve included a link below, if you are interested in learning more about these programs.
