ANNOUNCEMENTS: Tuesday, February 18, 2020

Thursday night the Junior High Wrestlers defeated Scottsburg 57-42. Picking up wins were Canaan Rowley, Jonas Sutton and Logan Kelly.

Today is Choir Practice, please remember to stay. If you were going to want to try out for the play, Mr. Pope has asked that you stay here for choir instead of going over.

Track & Field practice begins today for 6th graders. Our practice schedule is after school until 5:30 Mon-Thurs and after school until 4:45 on Fridays.

Auditions for the spring musical will be held on Monday, Feb. 24. Auditions will be held in the auditorium from 3:20 - 4:30. The musical is Golly Gee Whiz. Check out the Theatre Arts Google Classroom page for more information or contact Mr. Pope. The access code is zvvwcq1. Performances will be held on May 8 and 9.


There will be a Hunter Education Class on Saturday, February 29th, 2020. The class will be held at the Harrison County Government Center, located at 245 Atwood St., Corydon, IN. The class will be held from 8:00 am until about 7:00 pm. Anyone born after 1986 needs to successfully complete the class in order to purchase a Hunting License in Indiana. For registration and details go to www.register-ed.com.

Imaginations get their rocket fuel at Camp Invention! Join us for an exciting, weeklong summer adventure where children will design and build invention prototypes, protect our ecosystems, create mascots and sports complexes, and take home their very own flight simulation robot! A program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Camp Invention allows children entering 1st through 6th grade to experience real-world problem solving, creative thinking, invention, and teamwork while exploring connections between science, technology, engineering, and innovation. Camp Invention will be held at Corydon Intermediate School from 9:00am-3:30pm the week of June 8-12. South Harrison School Corporation has made it possible to register your child for this amazing experience for only $125! That is a savings of $110! Registration after April 10 will be $150. Registration MUST be done by calling 1-800-968-4332. Transportation will be available to and from South Central Elementary School and the Boys and Girls Club. Tuesday- Cat in the Hat- wear a silly hat/hat day
Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday- dress wacky
Thursday- Oh the places you will go- wear a travel shirt
Friday-I am not going to get up today- wear PJ’s


Yearbooks are on Sale! $17.00 You may send in cash or a check with your child to give to their homeroom teacher. Look for information coming home.
