Our Jr High Cross Country team has their first meet of the season tonight at North Harrison at 6:00. Good luck tonight Panthers!

It’s time to sign up for student council. If you are interested Student Council Applications are now available in the office. Applications are due by Wednesday, August 29th to classroom teachers.

Any 5th or 6th grade girl basketball tryouts will be Wednesday and Thursday after school until 5:00 pm.

Mrs. Rogers, our Cafeteria manager, says that she will be selling snacks starting today. $.25 & .50 per snack and you cannot take the money out of your lunch account. You must have cash. These will be sold after lunches are served during your lunch period.

Any 5th or 6th grade girl wanting to try out for the girls’ basketball team needs to sign up at the table between Mrs. Lindemann and Miss. Uhl's classrooms. Tryouts will be Aug. 22nd and 23rd after school until 5:00 pm. ALL girls who tryout MUST have a sports physical turned in.


Campus Life will be Monday, August 20th until 4:30. See Mrs. Praisler if you need a flyer anytime during the day.

We would like to welcome our guest teachers today, Mr. Voyles for Mrs. Eichmiller, Mrs. Saltsgaver in Mrs. Barton’s room, Mrs. Masterson for our library, Mrs. Huffman for Mrs. Walke, and Mrs. Lynch for Mrs. Clark this afternoon. Please make them feel welcome when you see them.

It’s time to sign up for student council. If you are interested Student Council Applications are now available in the office. Applications are due by Wednesday, August 29th to classroom teachers. Once completed, you can turn them into your teacher. Your teacher will have a time in class where you will give a short speech, and then the entire class will vote on their candidate of choice. The final decision of who is elected to Student Council is based on a combination of votes, as well as having good behavior, grades and attendance. Each class will have one representative. We will not have alternates this year

Picture Day is tomorrow. If you didn’t get your picture done on Registration day, this is the day to get it done.

Last night the Jr. High Girls Soccer team played against North Harrison and won 7-0. Several of our 5TH and 6th grades play on this team. Great job!!

6th graders: It is not too late to join band. We have several open spots left and would love to see more of you involved. If you are interested, you can head to Conrad’s Music to rent an instrument. Please contact Mr. Novak with any questions.
