NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL
From the CIS families to you we hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. There are many things that we can be thankful for in our lives. Thanksgiving is the time of year we all reflect on our many blessings. Although life is filled with many challenges, this is the time of year we are grateful for the kind people in our lives that love and support us so that our students believe, achieve, and succeed. I am personally thankful for my family, my friends, and the wonderful staff that we have here at CIS. Have a safe holiday.

Thank you to everyone who participated in The Giving Drive that was sponsored by the CIS Student Council and Mrs. Age. It was a huge success. The student council will be helping restock the pantry at The Community Services with all the canned goods and personal hygiene products donated. The books collected will be given to Kosair Children's Hospital for all of the children during the holidays.

NOTES FROM THE NURSE

The nursing clinic is looking for donations of sweatpants. We have been going through a lot of clothing lately and they are not being returned. I want to be able to provide clothing for our students when an accident occurs so we do not have to call parents to bring something in for them. We are needing sizes ranging from 8/10 - adult large. Thank you in advance for anything you can provide.

SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND AND WILL REOPEN ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH
