Mrs. Barton’s class is collecting pet donations for Operation Santa Paws! This will benefit the local animal shelter. They are collecting collars, cat and dog toys, blankets and cleaning supplies. Please bring your donation to the Snoopy’s doghouse at the end of the downstairs hallway.
Last night the boys basketball game played Our Lady and took a win with a score of 28-21 with points put up by TMac Wilkinson with 11, Titus Wolf with 2. Trey Wiley with 4, and Conrad Brock with 11. Great job boys.
The next game is a home game here tomorrow at home against Borden at 6pm. Let’s wear Black and Gold tomorrow and those who come to the game in black and gold get in for free. Good luck ball players.
Choir is today and I will call you down at 2:40 to catch the bus to the High School. Parents to pick up promptly at 4PM and be back at 6:30PM for the concert at 7PM everyone is invited to the concert tonight.

Band concert will be on Wednesday, December 18 at 7PM in the High School.

This week The Giving Tree is collecting Can Goods, Personal Hygiene Items and the like benefiting families in need. You may drop off your items by the library door. Students may send friendship grams to other students or staff members.
Bring in 1-4 items (Send 1 Gram)
Bring in 5-10 items (Send 2 Grams)
Bring in 11 or more items (Send 3 Grams)

Daddy/Daughter dance is on Saturday, December 15th 6-8PM.

Monday the 17th that we will have a PTO meeting @ 5:30 in the CIS Library. Free Child care provided

Home game for the 5th & 6th grade boys basketball is tonight at 6PM against OLPH. Students who wear black and gold get in free to all home games! If your parent drops you off, they need to be here at 8 for pick up. Good luck basketball players!

This says the band concert is on Wednesday the 18th, but the 18th is on a Tuesday. Can you clarify which day is the correct day for the concert please?

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Fact Friday, December 7, 2018
December 7, 1941 is the day that Japan launched a sneak attack on the United States Pacific fleet of ships in Pearl Harbor Hawaii. This is when the United States entered World War II.

Boys Basketball had games last night against South Central. It was a fun evening cheering and watching a great match up. Thanks to Mrs. Lindemann, Mrs. Bowsman and Mrs. Groudle for all the help last night.
5th grade took a loss but points were put up by Jack Fessel with 2o, Dylan Adams with 4, Cash Gentemann with 2, Austin Nichols with 2, and Jagg Stinson with 1.

6th Grade won 38-30 with points put up by Brock Conrad with 22, TMac with 7, Titus Wolfe with 4, Landon Waynescott with 2, Brogan Teeter with 2 and Trey Wiley with 1. Way to go 6th grade.
I heard that our students rocked the house at the game last night.
Great job to all the players, coaches and cheerleaders. Remember that every home game students at CIS will get in free if they wear their black and gold.

Wizzard assembly is today and ticket are still on sale for the game that will be at 7pm at the high school and doors open at 6. Mrs. Clunie and Mrs. Praisler are a part of this proformance tonight!

Boys Basketball had games last night against Heth-Washington and they both took a win. 5th grade put up points by Cody Hauswald with 4, Dane Naiman with 4, Carson Lawyer with 4, Ray Longacre with 2, and Kye Combs with 2. Final Score 16-8

6th Grades score was 37-35 with put points up by Blake Straub with 4, Waylon Doblado with 8, Peyton Schlechty with 2, Chuck Rowan with 6, Rylee Hibbs with 7, Maxx Jones with 4, and Logan Scharrer with 6.
Great job to all the players, coaches and cheerleaders.

The next home boy’s basketball game is today at 6pm. Wear your black and gold to the game and get in for free! Let’s show our school spirit!!!
