Girls Basketball teams won against Lanesville last night. 5th grade score was 20-4 and 6th grade score was 24-4. Wonderful job. Next game is this Saturday and it is the County Tourney at South Central starting at 9AM. Next home game is on Tuesday against Meade County at 6PM.
5th and 6th grade Boys Basketball sign-up sheets are on the table outside of the office. Tryouts are for 5th graders are November 2-5th from 6:30-8PM in the CIS gym. 6th grade tryouts are November 2-3rd from 5-6:30 in the CIS gym. YOU must have a sports physical on file in the CIS office in order to tryout. You must wear a mask and bring a filled water bottle as there will not be access to a water fountain. Tryouts are closed to parents and other non-student athletes. 5th grade coach is Justin Crawford 502-599-8526 and 6th grade’s is Tommy Wiseman 812-7366207.

Red Ribbon Week is October 26-30 and it is a celebration of the choice to live a healthy life free of drugs and tobacco. During this week we will have spirit days with different Red Ribbon Week themes.
We will also be having a door decorating contest this week. The theme is to correlate with fall/Halloween along with Red Ribbon Week. Some examples are “Drugs won’t scare me”, “Drugs are spooky”, “Leave drugs alone”, etc. A special prize will go to the students in the class that wins the contest!
Monday 10/26- Proud to be Drug Free- wear red to kick off red ribbon week
Tuesday 10/27- Peace out to Drugs- wear Tie-Dye
Wednesday 10/28- Put a cap on drugs- wear a hat
Thursday 10/29- Our school is Drug Free- wear school colors/spirit wear
Friday 10/30- Say Boo to Drugs- wear Halloween costumes (No full face mask/ props resembling weapons)
October 29- Dairy Queen Night.
October 30- Fall celebration.
November 3rd- eLearning day
November 25-27- Thanksgiving Break
December 21- Teacher Day, no students

We are working to grow our Kroger Community Rewards participation. This is another fundraiser that requires you to do NOTHING but enroll one time! Here's how to set it up if you haven't already:
To Use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:
Visit www.kroger.com. Once logged into your Kroger account, under my account choose Community Rewards. Search for Corydon Intermediate PTO Inc. either by name or PA403 and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.
*Customers must have a registered Kroger rewards card account to link to your organization. *If a member does not yet have a Kroger rewards card, please let them know they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger
REMEMBER, purchases will not count for your organization until after your participants register their rewards card.
Participants must swipe their registered Kroger rewards card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger rewards card when shopping for each purchase to count.
Don't forget to tell Grandma and Grandpa and Aunts and Uncles! If they aren't already enrolled, ask them to support our PTO! ...
