We would like to welcome our guest teachers today, Mr. Voyles for Mrs. Eichmiller, Mrs. Saltsgaver in Mrs. Barton’s room, Mrs. Masterson for our library, Mrs. Huffman for Mrs. Walke, and Mrs. Lynch for Mrs. Clark this afternoon. Please make them feel welcome when you see them.

It’s time to sign up for student council. If you are interested Student Council Applications are now available in the office. Applications are due by Wednesday, August 29th to classroom teachers. Once completed, you can turn them into your teacher. Your teacher will have a time in class where you will give a short speech, and then the entire class will vote on their candidate of choice. The final decision of who is elected to Student Council is based on a combination of votes, as well as having good behavior, grades and attendance. Each class will have one representative. We will not have alternates this year

Picture Day is tomorrow. If you didn’t get your picture done on Registration day, this is the day to get it done.

Any 5th or 6th grade girl wanting to try out for the girls’ basketball team needs to sign up at the table between Mrs. Lindemann and Mrs. Uhl's classrooms. Tryouts will be Aug. 22nd and 23rd after school until 5:00 pm. ALL girls who tryout MUST have a sports physical turned in. If you do not have a sports physical yet, take a physical form when you sign up. There will be forms next to the sign- up sheets.
Please sign up at the convenience of your teacher.


Students who would like to sign up for choir need to return forms by Friday August 17. If you need the letter and form, please see Mrs. Bauserman.

Last night the Jr. High Girls Soccer team played against North Harrison and won 7-0. Several of our 5TH and 6th grades play on this team. Great job!!

Campus Life will be Monday, August 20th until 4:30. More information to follow tomorrow.

Attention all 6th graders want to run Cross Country, It is not too late to join Jr. High Cross Country Team. Practices are after school until 5:50 Monday through Thursday and 4:45. IF you need more information to take home, grab and information sheet from the office.

We would like to welcome our guest teachers today, Mrs. Masterson in Mrs. Barton’s room and Mr. Voyles in the Library. Please make them feel welcome when you see them.

Attention all 6th graders running Cross Country this season, practice begins from 3:30-5:30 for those who have a current sports physical on file in the office. You will need a note from a parent/guardian to ride the bus over to the Jr. High for practice. IF you need more information to take home, grab and information sheet from the office.
