Final Immunization Reminder CIS

July 9, 2019
Good morning! I hope everyone is getting ready for the upcoming school year, which will be here before we know it. As a reminder, all seniors are required by state law to have their required immunizations up to date prior to the first day of school. In an effort to assist with this process, the Harrison County Health Department will be here at CIS on registration day, which is scheduled for Tuesday, July 23 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and 5:00 – 7:00 pm. If you have not already signed up for this opportunity and would like to, you can register your child online at the link listed below. In order to participate in this event, students must be signed up and registered no later than July 16th at 12:00 pm (noon). If your child receives the first dose in a series of immunizations on this registration day, then the subsequent doses will be given at school, during school hours, at the appropriate time, which prevents you from having to worry about scheduling follow up appointments and take time off from work or sign your child out of school. If you have any questions regarding the registration process, please feel free to contact the Health Department at 812-738-3237 option 1. I am listing the state immunization requirements below for all grades in the event you have other children in other grades. We look forward to seeing everyone at registration.
To access the registration website: To sign up and provide consent for your child to be vaccinated please sign up at and enter the enrollment code: IN15288. Select the name of your child’s school (CCHS or CIS), complete the required information and submit. Please note that your child has not been signed up unless you see a confirmation page upon submitting.
