The Board of School Trustees has approved that their August meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room located at 315 South Harrison Drive, Corydon, IN 47112. Preceding the meeting, members of the Board of School Trustees has been invited to tour the SHCSC Wellness Center at Harrison County Hospital at 5:15 p.m. and then will convene at 6:30 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office for Executive Session. This change to the schedule was approved on July 24, 2017.

As part of the South Harrison’s new College and Career Readiness (CCR) initiative, select students from the class of 2017 were offered a chance to participate in the newly developing internship program. Corydon Central senior, Josh Ayers, took advantage of the opportunity, and is glad he did!
The following documentary is being produced by Otto Schalk, Harrison County Prosecutor in an effort to combat the heroin epidemic in Harrison County and Indiana.

Thank you for your patience as we provide valuable time for teacher development on Friday afternoons. To see the time of dismissal for your child’s school, click Here. For future reference, if there is a two-hour delay on a Friday due to inclement weather, then there will not be an early release for that day. Instead, the dismissal time will be the same as other days.
