Please refer to the school's student handbook for additional policies regarding technology access and usage.
Laptop Warranty
Students are not authorized to perform repairs on their issued laptop. Any evidence of tampering within the unit case can void the warranty. Students should take their laptop to their school's technology depot for servicing if they believe that there is a problem that needs addressed.
User Monitoring
South Harrison computers have software installed on them that enables remote desktop viewing and control when directly connected to the corporation network. When the computer is not connected to the network, this software does not function. Remote viewing and control is used by the teaching staff to conduct class and by the technology staff during troubleshooting activities.
